Event Management Internship
Job Description
Basic Description
-
Assist with large and small events (including material preparation, on-site registration, set-up and teardown, transport supplies, refreshment coordination, work with publicity, marketing, and social media)

Knowledgeable of general event technology equipment (projectors, microphones, laptops, Zoom meetings, etc.)

Tabulate and maintain event participation records

Use online registration program to set-up and maintain online event registrations
-
Collect data and write summary reports for events
Event Management Support Includes: Teaching Assistant Institute, Montague-CTE Awards Scholar Luncheon, Provost-APT Teaching Excellence Awards, and other small events.
Additional Duties

Office support - assist with general clerical office duties: answering phones, maintaining digital files, maintain office supplies, running errands, etc.

Inventory support - ordering food, materials, or other supplies needed

Marketing support - create and update flyers, one-pagers, write short articles and press releases

Train on TAMU and CTE programs, policies and procedures
